You Were Not Made to Shrink: Reclaiming Your Divine Feminine Power
Somewhere along the way, many of us were taught to make ourselves smaller. To soften our voices. To dim our light. It's time to reclaim what was always yours.

I remember the exact moment I realized I had been making myself smaller my entire adult life.
Not all at once — but in a thousand tiny surrenders. The opinion I swallowed at the dinner table. The promotion I didn't apply for. The relationship I stayed in far too long because I was afraid of what my wholeness might cost.
The Conditioning Is Real
Women — particularly Black women, spiritual women, women who grew up in faith communities — are often handed a very specific script. Be humble. Be quiet. Be supportive. Don't take up too much space.
That conditioning runs deep. And it takes intentional, sustained work to unravel it.
What Reclamation Looks Like
Reclaiming your power is not about becoming loud or aggressive. It's about becoming whole. It's about allowing yourself to be all of who you are — your tenderness and your fire, your softness and your strength.
It's learning to take up the exact amount of space you were divinely designed to occupy — no more apologizing, no more shrinking, no more editing yourself into palatability.
A Practice for Today
Find a mirror. Look yourself in the eyes. And say aloud: I am not too much. I am exactly enough. And I take up this space without apology.
Do it until you feel it. Do it until you believe it. Do it until it becomes your truth.
You were made to expand, to fill rooms, to overflow. Your wholeness is not arrogance — it is obedience to the divine design within you.
